Farewell to the Summer Holiday (with movie!)

Rob put together a video of the shots and clips we've taken during the summer holiday - going on outings with the kids, learning new things together at workshops and eating lots!

What's this all about?

In November 2007 I quit my job as a corporate lawyer having worked in three of the most glamorous cities - Hong Kong, London and New York. I felt that life was too short to be stuck in something I wasn't passionate about.

After a four-month career break (which I highly recommend - everyone needs space to breathe and think), I worked for an international NGO for a year, and interned at two human rights organisations.

This summer my husband and I volunteered at a brilliant project for former street children in the Philippines.

Our latest adventure is to set up a support office for Viva, a global children-at-risk charity, for their brilliant work in Asia. You can find more more at http://www.viva.org/.

I've also taken up writing as something I really enjoy, which is also a great platform to share with those who are interested my experiences of attempting an alternative way of life to the corporate/conventional.
